Our ‘Scarborough Blend’ Seasoning is inspired by the folk song ‘Scarborough Fair’ that has been popularized by ‘Simon & Garfunkel’.
The song mentions four herbs-parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme (intended to be used as a love potion as one of the theories go!).
Our seasoning is a beautiful mix of parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, garlic, jalapenos and pink salt.
The seasoning can be sprinkled on toast. It can be used to make heavenly herbed butter. The seasoning adds beautiful aroma and flavour to soups. It is phenomenal on pizzas. It goes very well with pasta sauce and it is beautiful in vinaigrettes. It can also be added to mashed potatoes, fries, marinades, popcorn and so on.
There are no added preservatives or colours. The seasoning is vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. The herbs have been grown without use of chemicals and then have been dried at low-temperature to retain the flavour and nutrients.
